Calling all umpires for the 2019 WFBLL season!

Calling all WFBLL Umpires!

It's that time of year again.  The snow will melt, the temperatures will get above 50 degrees and we will be playing baseball before you know it.  To be eligible to umpire, you must meet the following requirements:
 
  • Pee Wee Umps:  Must have completed at least one year of Majors, be under 18 years old, complete in-person umpire training and open-book quiz following training (new this season)
  • Minors and Majors Umps: Must have completed at least two years on Majors or one year of Intermediates or Juniors, be under 18 years old, complete in-person umpire training and open-book quiz following training (new this season)
The required in-person umpire training will be (attend ONE):
 
  • Sunday, April 14th @ High School Fieldhouse.  Must check-in 15 minutes prior to training.
    • Pee Wee Umps:  12:15pm - 1:15pm
    • Minors Umps:  1:30pm - 2:30pm
    • Majors Umps:  2:45pm - 3:45pm
  • Make-Up Date:  Monday, April 15th @ Cumberland Elementary Gym.  Must check-in 15 minutes prior to training.
    • Pee Wee Umps:  6:30pm - 7:30pm
    • Minors & Majors Umps:  7:45pm - 8:45pm

WFBLL Families,

Please make sure the bat your child is using for the 2019 season of Little League has the USA Bat logo. This rule went into effect last season. The logo looks like this:
