Challenger Division - Spring/Summer Season
The Challenger division was established in 1989 as Little League's adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges, ages 4-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school, to enjoy the game of baseball.
Whitefish Bay Little League's team, the Bats, play a regular season and an All Star game against other athletes from the Challenger Divisions in Menomonee Falls, Grafton and Germantown Little Leagues.
Volunteers that are in seventh grade or above can participate as "Player Buddies". Each Player Buddy will work with a player on hitting, fielding, running the bases and enjoyment of the game. The Player Buddy also assists the Challenger athlete according to his/her needs and protects the player. Player Buddies encourage the athlete to participate, celebrate their success and have fun with the player and team. Please direct any questions about our Challenger program to [email protected].

Tee Ball
Tee Ball is offered through the Whitefish Bay Recreation Department, not Whitefish Bay Little League. It is a co-ed league focusing on developing basic fundamentals in a less competitive atmosphere. Emphasis is on skill development, sportsmanship and fun. Teams are parent coached and offered to players in K4 and K5. Registration takes place in the spring and information can be found in the WFB Rec. Dept. Summer guide available HERE.
Fastpitch Softball
We are excited to re-introduce Little League softball to Whitefish Bay. Two years ago, we started our softball program with teams playing interleague games against other communities with Little League softball. This year, we would like to form multiple teams within Whitefish Bay that would play a regular season against each other at the High School softball field as well as Craig Counsell Park.
Registration is now open for girls interested in playing softball in our U10 Division (girls league age 8, 9, or 10) or our U12 Division (girls league age 11 and 12). The season will consist of some practices as well as a 12 game regular season. We are hoping to form 3 teams in the U10 Division and 2 teams in the U12 Division. The first 36 girls to register will be guaranteed a spot in U10 and the first 24 girls to register in U12 will be guaranteed a spot in U12. If we have enough interest exceeding these numbers, there will be a waiting list and we will try to accommodate enrollment if rosters and field space permits.
The cost for the season is $100 which includes uniform, hat, 12 game regular season, and opportunity to be selected to an All Star softball team representing Whitefish Bay Little League.
Please share this with others in the community who may have a young female interested in playing softball this upcoming season. If any questions about this new program WFBLL is excited to offer, please reach out to Kyle Fox at
[email protected] or 414.405.0323.
Whitefish Bay Little League is also proud to partner with Jr. Dukes Fastpitch Softball to offer a Fastpitch Softball experience for female athletes in grades 2 through 9. Registration and player evaluations take place in late July to form teams playing during the following Spring/Summer season. Player registration and additional information are available through the Jr. Dukes Fastpitch Softball website, available HERE.
